Guns N Roses Themed Murder

A man reportedly sung the Guns N' Roses song "I Used To Love Her" before murdering his ex-girlfriend.
Thomas Wilhelm, 48, also drank cherry vodka and took prescription pills before shooting Christine Murray, 35, who was only his business partner at the time. (LA Times)
Senior attorney Jim Mendelson told the court in Orange County that Wilhelm "took great pride in the Wilhelm sprinkler name." Murray said she would wait until he was sober so they could talk business, to which Willhelm replied, "Basically, that will be never."
"The one thing that you are going to hear about Mr. Wilhelm is his business endeavors were severely hampered because he had a real substance-abuse problem for multiple types of substances and alcohol," Mendelson said.
While the disagreement continued, Murray text another of Wilhelm's ex-girlfriend with whom she had forged a bond. "He's drunk, locked in his room, listening to his oldies music, singing at the top of his lungs, hammered as hell, says we will talk soon. I told him when he is sober. Says he doesn't intend to ever be. Good then I don't need to change your name, you won't need it." Minutes later, she was dead.

Queensryche: New Tour Announced (with dates)

Geoff Tate will take his version of Queensryche on the road next spring to celebrate the 25th anniversary of "Operation: Mindcrime".

The tour will feature a full performance of the 15-song album, along with other hits from the Queensryche catalog, according to Blabbermouth

Jimi Hendrix's 'Lost' Album: Release Date And Tracklist Revealed

We're learning more about "People, Hell & Angels" the most recent collection of previously unreleased material from Jimi Hendrix that was announced last week. For starters, we have the names of all 12 tracks (listed below) as well as a release date of March 5, 2013.
The songs were recorded in New York from 1968-69. At the time, Hendrix was experimenting with different musicians and musical textures. Although many of the songs feature Hendrix with the rhythm section of bassist Billy Cox and drummer Buddy Miles, two songs ("Izabella", "Easy Blues") feature Larry Lee, an old friend from his days on the "chitlin' circuit" on second guitar. Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell also pops up twice, and Stephen Stills plays bass on "Somewhere" .
"We're thrilled to be able to release 'People, Hell & Angels' during the celebration of the 70th anniversary of my brother's birth," said Janie Hendrix, President of Experience Hendrix, L.L.C., via press release. "The brilliance of the album serves to underscore what we've known all along: that there has never been and never will be a musical force equal to his and that we cherish and take inspiration of what he left us both now and for many generations to come... simply eternity."
Eddie Kramer, who engineered all three albums Hendrix released in his lifetime and worked on many of the posthumous compilations, oversaw the production of "People, Hell & Angels".
